Nos Traces – 2024

Nos Traces is a documentary series that follows three passionate skiers through the mountains of Quebec—from the legendary Chic-Choc range to the subarctic landscapes of the Torngats. In each episode, they set out to conquer a remote peak on backcountry skis, facing the raw wilderness head on, far away from the usual ski lifts.

Along the way, they meet those who live and work in these regions—guides, scientists, Indigenous people—to better understand the history, geology, and culture of these areas. Nos Traces shines a light on the beauty and richness of Quebec’s mountainous regions, while celebrating the spirit of community and the sense of renewal that comes along with skiing the backcountry.
