In Terry’s footsteps

In production

In Terry’s Footsteps is a six-part documentary series that follows the incredible journey of Terry Samuel Bond, a man from the Gaspé region of Québec who sets out to run across Canada, despite losing a leg in a fishing accident. Remarkably, it’s the very same leg that was amputated from his hero, Terry Fox. He was even named in Fox’s honour, reflecting the deep admiration his deaf mother had for the iconic Canadian figure.

Forty-five years after the Marathon of Hope, Terry picks up the torch with his prosthetic leg, embarking on a journey as bold as it is inspiring. The series immerses us in his one-of-a-kind path—marked by courage, perseverance, and emotion. A true story that transcends fiction, and a powerful tribute to two Canadian legends.
