CHSLD, Mon Amour – 2020
Filmed before the health crisis linked to COVID-19, CHSLD, Mon Amour is a documentary filmed with the residents and staff of the Émilie Gamelin long-term care center in the Center-South area of Montreal. Luminous and shedding new light on the real value of nursing homes in our increasingly aging society, poetic yet grounded in reality, the work bears witness to several months of observation during which sacrifice, acceptance and self-improvement shine.
