Faire du Neuf avec du Vieux

Developed to mark Cascades’ 60th anniversary, Faire du Neuf avec du Vieux reimagines the company’s history as a multimedia narrative experience combining documentary storytelling, archival footage, graphic design and digital innovation. Through a series of thematic capsules, the project explores collective memory, innovation and the human impact of Cascades through a cinéma vérité approach enriched by motion design, graphic integration and AI-assisted archival enhancement. Conceived for museums, exhibitions and immersive environments, the project offers a contemporary lens on Québec’s industrial heritage and was presented as an experiential installation at Parc Marie-Victorin in Kingsey Falls, Québec, in June 2025.
