Matimekush
A unique phenomenon, in Matimekush, an Innu community adjacent to Schefferville, a former mining town in disrepair, the school’s teachers are almost all African, essentially from West Africa.
The proposed film will follow the construction, often difficult, of this community where, each in their own way, try to overcome the traumas of their history, a history much more common than it seems.
